Here's my newest pieces to replace those sold.

More March Art 4x4s- ALL At Matter!, Olympia, WA
Invoking the Goddess

With these newer pieces, I began with a doodle I execute often when I am stuck waiting on the phone or just listening to a particularly boring recitation or another, like at traffic court. Once I began to draw this onto one piece, I couldn't stop. So, all of them have some drawing or another doodled onto one or another of the layers I apply to each piece. Some were done on bare paper, others the second layer, still others it was on the last or over and over throughout the layers, I added madly. I like them very much and will probably continue it for awhile as I work my way through the world of the 4x4-sized art world...
Totem Animal: Dog

Flying Dream

Totem

Feathered Friends SOLD

In the Spring Garden

Cottage by the Sea

Robin's Garden II-- for Nancy SOLD

Two new Pieces in Show at
Cannibals
518 NW 21st Ave
Portland, OR 97209-1106
(503) 224-2663
Open W-Sun 12-5
Show is called Art for the Blind

This first piece is called "All In This Together".
It is constructed from a 100+ year old tennis racket (complete with "cat-gut" original strings), handmade plastic figure, steel wire, aluminum and copper sheeting and glue. The racket was my great grandfather Ralph B. Mann's racket and his initials are carved into the handle right near where I signed the piece.CLOSE-UPS:

The second piece is called, "Quincunx, between a rock and a hard place." It is a 6x6" square constructed of a wooden block, acrylic paint & mediums, a vintage envelope, engineer diagram over printed, steel wire, flicker feathers, & two holey stones found on the Oregon Coast. Quincunx is a term used, in this context, as an astrological term describing the alignment of certain celestial bodies in someone's chart. It also connotes the number 5. CLOSE-UP:
